That's what I think I've ultimately settled on as the goal for these guys - cartoony blind box toys come alive with expressions to match as their main vibe. It do be time to paint.
I was painting this from the side so the pupil placement made sense but then I realized a duh from the front matters way more and then this face greeted me. I choked on some spit.
